We just set up in our broadcast location, which seems like a bazillion miles away from the ice.<\/p>\n<p>That said, if a football stadium can be called &#8220;intimate&#8221;, Ford Field can. It has more of the feel of a domed baseball field than a gridiron.<\/p>\n<p>The building is chilly right now, but the fans haven&#8217;t been let in yet. It will be interesting to see how the ice holds up and if they can control the humidity with the large crowd. Right now, it<strong> looks<\/strong> soft.
