With two weeks left in the regular season, there’s still plenty at stake in ECAC Hockey.<\/p>\n
First-place Quinnipiac has clinched a first-round bye for the conference playoffs, while second-place Yale is in a good position to join the Bobcats in the top four.<\/p>\n
At the bottom of the standings, Princeton, Brown, Colgate, and Union appear set to head on the road for the playoffs.<\/p>\n
However, in between those six teams sits a tight race, with third-place Harvard separated from eighth-place Cornell by only five points. Those teams will meet in Cambridge on Friday night.<\/p>\n
Another matchup down the road to keep an eye on is Yale at Quinnipiac on Feb. 27, the final night of the regular season. The Bobcats currently hold a five-point lead over the second place Bulldogs, but Yale (more on them below) has won five in a row, the fourth-best unbeaten streak in the country.<\/p>\n

A road sweep at Colgate and Cornell is an achievement on its own. But the fact that Yale did it shorthanded makes it even more impressive.<\/p>\n
