{"id":2234,"date":"2012-02-10T09:00:49","date_gmt":"2012-02-10T15:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/mens-d3-blog\/?p=2234"},"modified":"2012-02-10T09:00:49","modified_gmt":"2012-02-10T15:00:49","slug":"ecac-west-weekly-picks-feb-10-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2012\/02\/10\/ecac-west-weekly-picks-feb-10-11\/","title":{"rendered":"ECAC West Weekly Picks, Feb. 10-11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small\">An unmitigated disaster, that is the best way to describe my picks last week.&#160; I got every game wrong.&#160; I am sitting in the penalty box feeling shame as I type this blog.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\">Anyone want to guess how many I will get wrong this week?&#160; If the last two weeks are any indication, the number will be pretty high.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\">In addition to the pair of weekend series, Manhattanville finishes of its nonconference schedule at Morrisville.&#160; Come on Valiants, give me one last bragging point against Russell.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\">Last Week:&#160; 0-3&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\">Overall:&#160; 47-22 (.681)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\">{predicted winners bolded}<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Neumann at Utica:<\/span>&#160; This series comes down to who wants and needs it more.&#160; Utica has an outside shot at the regular season title, or at least a home semifinal playoff game.&#160; Neumann is looking to stop its slide&#160; that started three weeks ago.&#160; Neumann beat Utica 2-1 earlier in the season, but I think recent momentum carries the Pioneers forward this weekend.&#160; <strong>Utica sweeps the series.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Elmira vs. Hobart (home-and-home):<\/span>&#160; The Wounded Warrior Project events provide plenty of distractions for both teams this weekend, but also extra hype and fan interest.&#160; After resting last weekend, Elmira is healed up and ready for the stretch run.&#160; Hobart traditionally matches up well against Elmira, but the Soaring Eagles have too many dangerous weapons this year for the Statesmen to handle<strong>.&#160; Elmira sweeps the weekend.<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Manhattanville<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> at Morrisville<\/span> &#8211; Manhattanville needs every win it can get to help its case with the NCAA Selection Committee.&#160; The Valiants should be able to get back on the winning track on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An unmitigated disaster, that is the best way to describe my picks last week.&#160; I got every game wrong.&#160; I am sitting in the penalty box feeling shame as I type this blog.
