St. Scholastica has announced the resignation of head coach Mark Workman.<\/p>\n
St. Scholastica assistant athletic director Dave Reyelts was named interim coach through the end of the 2001-2002 season while a national search is conducted. Reyelts is also the college’s women’s soccer coach.<\/p>\n
“We’re very appreciative of the many contributions Coach Workman has made to the program,” said athletic director Dana Moore.<\/p>\n
Workman tallied a career record of 35-118-3 in five seasons at St. Scholastica. The 2000-2001 Saints compiled a 9-17-1 overall record and finished sixth in the Division III NCHA at 3-10-1.<\/p>\n
Workman oversaw the team’s move into a new home rink, Mars Lakeview Arena, at the start of this past season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
