USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll of 2003, Harvard remained in first place, just six points over No. 2 Minnesota-Duluth. There was only limited action this weekend, with only one game being played among the top three teams, as No. 1 Harvard cruised past Wayne State by a 9-0 margin. Minnesota-Duluth and No. 3 Minnesota were idle.

The biggest movement in the poll came as a result of a meeting between ranked teams, as Providence fell two spots to No. 7 after a 4-3 loss to Princeton, which climbed one place to No. 8. The remaining teams preserved their respective positions.

The coming weekend sees a full return to play for all the teams. The top match-up involves top teams, as No. 2 Minnesota-Duluth plays host to No. 4 Dartmouth for two games. Elsewhere, No. 9 Wisconsin travels to No. 5 St. Lawrence for a Tuesday game, and Princeton puts its new No. 8 ranking on the line, hosting Brown and No. 1 Harvard.
