The College Hockey America tournament will return to Kearney, Neb., in 2004.<\/p>\n
The Grand Island (Neb.) Independent<\/em> reported that the league’s athletic directors voted unanimously to hold the tournament at the Tri-City Arena for the second consecutive season.<\/p>\n The 2003 tournament drew 7,346 fans. Both conference and city officials say that needs to increase.<\/p>\n Joe Delich, the CHA tournament liason, said the conference would like to see around 13,000 tickets sold.<\/p>\n Greg Shea, representing the organizers in Kearney, told the newspaper their goal would be between 13,000 and 15,000 tickets.<\/p>\n The agreement includes an option to bring the tournament back to Kearney in 2005.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The CHA tournament will once again be played in the Tri-City Arena in 2004.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":140328,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"coauthors":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
