The semifinals are set for this weekend with four teams punching their ticket to get one step closer to the Division III national championship in Lewiston, Maine.
\nLet’s take a look back at the path teams took to get there:
\nFirst Round<\/b>
\nAlex Larson’s 45-save performance was not enough for Nichols as the Bison fell to Geneseo 3-2.
\nNorwich beat Salem State 8-2. Three players scored two goals apiece as Travis Janke, Chris Duszynski and Nick Pichette each netted a pair en route to the victory.
\nOswego beat Bowdoin 4-3. The Lakers were down 3-1 midway through the third period when they battled back with three unanswered goals.
\nQuarterfinals<\/b>
\nSt. Norbert scored three power-play goals to beat Adrian 7-2. Joe Perry scored twice in the victory.
\nTyler Brickler provided Geneseo with all three goals in the 3-2 win over Norwich to advance the Knights to semifinals.
\nWisconsin-Stevens Point shut out St. Thomas 3-0, scoring three goals in the third period. Brandon Jaeger made 25 saves in the shutout.
\nOswego shutout Babson on Sunday afternoon with Matt Zawadzki getting his fourth shutout of season in the 3-0 win.
\nFrozen Four<\/b>
\nSt. Norbert will play Geneseo and Wisconsin-Stevens Point plays Oswego Friday night with the two winners playing for all the marbles Saturday night in Lewiston.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
