The NCAA has awarded the 2012 Women’s Frozen Four to Duluth, Minn., and the new Amsoil Arena.<\/p>\n
The arena, scheduled to open in the middle of the 2010-11 season, is set to hold 6,600 fans for hockey.<\/p>\n
It is being built next to the DECC, which hosted the Women’s Frozen Four in 2003 and 2008 — both won by Minnesota-Duluth.<\/p>\n
