Former Providence All-American Devin Rask will join his alma mater as an assistant coach.<\/p>\n
Rask replaces Stan Moore, who resigned earlier this month.<\/p>\n
“Devin will be a terrific addition to our coaching staff,” Providence coach Tim Army said in a statement. “He had a wonderful career at Providence College and he embodies all that we expect of our student-athletes. We look forward to him joining our staff and helping us to continue to instill those values in our current student-athletes.”<\/p>\n
Rask was an assistant coach at Connecticut last season.<\/p>\n
He was an All-American in 2001, when he had 51 points to help the Friars make the NCAA tournament.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
