Rochester Institute of Technology today announced a major fundraising program titled “Tiger Power Play — The Campaign for RIT Hockey,” with a goal of $15 million targeted for the construction of a new arena for its men’s and women’s hockey programs.<\/p>\n
The first donors to the effort with a pledge of $1 million are alumni Stephen L. Schultz, ’88 and ’89, chief technology officer and co-founder of Pictometry International Corp., and his wife Vicki D. Schultz, ’92, ’94 and ’99.<\/p>\n
Introducing the donors, RIT president Dr. Bill Destler said, “I for one could not be more grateful.”<\/p>\n
