The first USCHO.com Division III Women’s Poll of the 2011-12 season looks
\nsimilar to how the final poll last March looked.<\/p>\n
Norwich, the defending NCAA D-III champs, stay at No. 1, getting 14 of 15
\nfirst-place votes. <\/p>\n
No. 2 Rochester Institute of Technology, last year’s runners-up to Norwich,
\nreceived the other first-place vote.<\/p>\n
Middlebury and Plattsburgh are No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while
\nWisconsin-River Falls is No. 5 after finishing last year No. 7.<\/p>\n
Amherst starts at No. 6, Gustavus Adolphus is No. 7, Manhattanville is
\neighth and Trinity comes in ninth.<\/p>\n
