{"id":41758,"date":"2012-02-14T15:30:58","date_gmt":"2012-02-14T21:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=41758"},"modified":"2012-02-14T20:52:51","modified_gmt":"2012-02-15T02:52:51","slug":"outdoor-game-scheduled-for-omaha-in-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2012\/02\/14\/outdoor-game-scheduled-for-omaha-in-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Nebraska-Omaha to host North Dakota outdoors in 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an official announcement made Tuesday, Nebraska-Omaha will host North Dakota on Feb. 9, 2013 in an outdoor game at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.<\/p>\n<p>The USHL&#8217;s Omaha Lancers and Lincoln Stars are also set to play outdoors at the home of the College World Series.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our players are already excited to play in a game like this, which is sure to receive plenty of local and national attention,&#8221; said UNO coach Dean Blais in a statement. &#8220;We have had very competitive games against North Dakota since we joined the WCHA and playing outdoors in front of a big crowd will only make these games more fun for everyone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This will be a great event and an exciting venue to continue building the healthy rivalry that we have with the Mavericks,&#8221; added North Dakota coach Dave Hakstol. &#8220;Our team and fans are looking forward to the opportunity to be part of an outdoor game that is sure to bring national attention to college hockey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the two games will go on sale Oct. 1, 2012, and prices will start at $30. One ticket will cover both games. UNO and Lancers&#8217; season ticket holders will be able to order tickets for the game during their regular ticket renewal program.
