{"id":42529,"date":"2012-03-05T12:18:00","date_gmt":"2012-03-05T18:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=42529"},"modified":"2012-03-05T12:18:37","modified_gmt":"2012-03-05T18:18:37","slug":"42529","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2012\/03\/05\/42529\/","title":{"rendered":"Eight-team Division III national championship women&#8217;s bracket announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The eight teams selected for the 2012 NCAA Division III women&#8217;s championship were announced Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Of the eight teams selected, five received automatic qualification berths as winners of their conference championship: ECAC East (Norwich), ECAC West (RIT), MIAC (Gustavus Adolphus), NESCAC (Middlebury) and NCHA (Wisconsin-River Falls).<\/p>\n<p>Three schools (Amherst, Concordia (Minn.) and Plattsburgh) were selected from Pool C, which consists of schools from automatic-qualifying conferences that were not the conference champion.<\/p>\n<p>Four first-round games will be played at campus sites March 9 and 10.<\/p>\n<p>The four winners of the first-round games will play in the semifinals March 16 and the final and third-place game will be held March 17.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The eight teams selected for the 2012 NCAA Division III women&#8217;s championship were announced Monday morning.
