{"id":44866,"date":"2012-07-24T22:35:55","date_gmt":"2012-07-25T03:35:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=44866"},"modified":"2012-07-24T22:35:55","modified_gmt":"2012-07-25T03:35:55","slug":"syracuse-women-tab-hamiltons-knight-as-new-assistant-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2012\/07\/24\/syracuse-women-tab-hamiltons-knight-as-new-assistant-coach\/","title":{"rendered":"Syracuse women tab Hamilton&#8217;s Knight as new assistant coach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Syracuse women&#8217;s team has named Brendon Knight a new assistant coach. <\/p>\n<p>Knight joins the Orange program after six years as head coach of the Hamilton women&#8217;s team.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are very excited to have Brendon join our program as he brings a wealth of experience with him from his time at Hamilton and Potsdam,&#8221; said SU head coach Paul Flanagan in a news release. &#8220;He is an excellent teacher of the game, a very knowledgeable recruiter and possesses an outstanding character.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In his time at Hamilton, Knight guided the team to 57 wins and six postseason appearances. <\/p>\n<p>Knight began his time at Hamilton as an assistant men&#8217;s coach for the 2005-06 season. Prior to arriving at Hamilton, Knight was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Potsdam, from 2002-05. He graduated from Potsdam in 2001 and played three seasons there (1998-2001).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Syracuse women&#8217;s team has named Brendon Knight a new assistant coach.
