Four teams earned first-place votes in this week’s USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll, but with 35 of the 50 nods, Boston College has regained the top ranking once again.<\/p>\n
Last week’s No. 1 team, New Hampshire, received nine first-place votes and slides to No. 2 this week. <\/p>\n
Notre Dame moves up from No. 5 to No. 3 with three first-place votes, while Minnesota stays No. 4 and took home the other three first-place votes.<\/p>\n
Miami falls to No. 5 from No. 3, Boston University jumps one to No. 6, Western Michigan remains seventh, North Dakota rises one spot to No. 8, Quinnipiac leaps up four spots to sit ninth and Dartmouth holds steady as the nation’s tenth-ranked team.<\/p>\n
At No. 11, Denver is down five places, Cornell falls one to No. 12, Nebraska-Omaha moves up one to the 13th spot, Union falls a pair to No. 14 and Yale stays 15th.<\/p>\n
Niagara rises two spots to No. 16, St. Cloud State is again 17th, Harvard jumps two places to sit No. 18, Ferris State falls three to No. 19 and previously-unranked Minnesota State enters the poll this week at No. 20.<\/p>\n
The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
