Five teams garnered first-place votes in this week’s USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll, but with 38 of 50 first-place votes, Minnesota stays atop the rankings.<\/p>\n
Notre Dame jumps one spot to No. 2 and received eight first-place votes, trading places with Boston College, which recorded one first-place nod this week.<\/p>\n
New Hampshire earned a first-place vote and remains fourth, followed by No. 5 Quinnipiac, which tallied two first-place votes.<\/p>\n
Miami and North Dakota stay No. 6 and No. 7, respectively, while Boston University is up one to No. 8, Denver jumps a pair to No. 9 and Western Michigan holds firm in the tenth slot.<\/p>\n
Minnesota State rises three to sit 11th, Dartmouth tumbles four to No. 12, Nebraska-Omaha jumps three to No. 13, as is Yale at No. 14, followed by Cornell falling three to No. 15.<\/p>\n
At No. 16, Union is down three, Niagara is up one to No. 17 and St. Cloud State falls three to No. 18.<\/p>\n
Previously-unranked Colgate (No. 19) and Massachusetts-Lowell (No. 20) enter the poll this week to round out the top 20.<\/p>\n
The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
