Despite losing to St. Lawrence and beating Clarkson in a pair of one-goal games last weekend, Quinnipiac earned 34 first-place votes to remain the top team in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll this week.<\/p>\n

Minnesota, after splitting with Wisconsin, remains No. 2 after getting 15 first-place votes.<\/p>\n

Miami comes in No. 3 again despite gaining a split with Notre Dame, Boston College had the other first-place nod and stays fourth after losing to Merrimack and tying New Hampshire in a pair of overtime contests. UNH retains the fifth spot in the rankings.<\/p>\n

Idle North Dakota jumps one to No. 6, idle St. Cloud State rises one to No. 7, Western Michigan tied and lost at Ohio State and falls two spots to No. 8, Minnesota State swept Michigan Tech to stay ninth and idle Denver moves up one to sit tenth this week.<\/p>\n

At No. 11, Notre Dame is up one, Massachusetts-Lowell jumps two to No. 12 with a sweep over Massachusetts, Yale lost to Union and Rensselaer and is down three places to No. 13, Nebraska-Omaha
\nclimbs two spots to No. 14 after sweeping Alaska-Anchorage and Boston University falls a pair of notches to No. 15 despite tying and defeating Maine in two overtime games.<\/p>\n

Niagara falls one to No. 16 by splitting with Robert Morris, Merrimack jumps two to No. 17, Wisconsin stays 18th, Dartmouth falls two spots to No. 19 after losing to Cornell and beating Colgate and No. 20 Union re-enters the rankings this week with wins over Yale and Brown.<\/p>\n

The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
