{"id":51337,"date":"2013-04-05T19:22:15","date_gmt":"2013-04-06T00:22:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=51337"},"modified":"2013-04-08T13:08:19","modified_gmt":"2013-04-08T18:08:19","slug":"report-sharks-to-sign-union-goaltender-grosenick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2013\/04\/05\/report-sharks-to-sign-union-goaltender-grosenick\/","title":{"rendered":"Sharks make it official, sign Union goaltender Grosenick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After first being reported by the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailygazette.com\/weblogs\/schott\/2013\/apr\/05\/grosenick-to-sign-with-san-jose-sharks\/\">Daily Gazette<\/a><\/em>, Union junior goalie <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/stats\/player\/mid,18984\/troy-grosenick\/\">Troy Grosenick<\/a> has given up his senior season with the Dutchmen to sign a free-agent deal with the San Jose Sharks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re happy for Troy,&#8221; Union coach Rick Bennett said in the Gazette. &#8220;It&#8217;s more gratifying to know that he&#8217;s going to finish his degree. He&#8217;s one of the best student-athletes at Union College hockey.
