{"id":55026,"date":"2013-12-17T14:57:29","date_gmt":"2013-12-17T20:57:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=55026"},"modified":"2013-12-17T14:57:29","modified_gmt":"2013-12-17T20:57:29","slug":"minnesota-ends-first-half-still-no-1-in-d-i-womens-rankings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2013\/12\/17\/minnesota-ends-first-half-still-no-1-in-d-i-womens-rankings\/","title":{"rendered":"Minnesota ends first half still No. 1 in D-I women&#8217;s rankings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the first half in the books, Minnesota will head to 2014 as the top-ranked team in the USCHO.com Division I Women&#8217;s Poll as the Gophers again garnered all 15 first-place votes this week.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the poll is the exact same as the Dec. 9 poll.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin sits second, Cornell third, North Dakota fourth and Harvard at No. 5 rounds out the top five.<\/p>\n<p>Clarkson is again No. 6, followed by Boston College at No. 7, Boston University at No. 8, Quinnipiac ninth and Robert Morris in the No. 10 slot.<\/p>\n<p>Mercyhurst also received a vote this week.<\/p>\n<p>The next D-I women&#8217;s poll will be&#160; Jan. 6, 2014.<\/p>\n<p><em>The USCHO.com Division I Women&#8217;s Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, including 14 coaches of Division I programs and one women&#8217;s hockey writer.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With the first half in the books, Minnesota will head to 2014 as the top-ranked team in the USCHO.com Division I Women&#8217;s Poll as the Gophers again garnered all 15 first-place votes this week.
