With 12 first-place votes, Minnesota begins the 2014-15 preseason as the top-ranked team in the USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll.<\/p>\n
Wisconsin comes in second, while Boston College sits third.<\/p>\n
Harvard earned a first-place vote and is fourth, Cornell is fifth, while Boston University took home a first-place vote and is sixth in this week’s rankings.<\/p>\n
Last year’s national champion, Clarkson, is seventh and garnered the other first-place nod.<\/p>\n
Rounding out the top 10 is North Dakota at No. 8, Mercyhurst at No. 9 and Minnesota-Duluth and Quinnipiac tying for the tenth spot.<\/p>\n
