{"id":60358,"date":"2014-11-06T12:20:40","date_gmt":"2014-11-06T18:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=60358"},"modified":"2014-11-06T12:20:40","modified_gmt":"2014-11-06T18:20:40","slug":"holy-cross-ad-former-player-coach-bellerose-to-retire-on-dec-31","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2014\/11\/06\/holy-cross-ad-former-player-coach-bellerose-to-retire-on-dec-31\/","title":{"rendered":"Holy Cross AD, former player, coach Bellerose to retire on Dec. 31"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Holy Cross associate director of athletics and business manager Bill Bellerose announced Thursday that he will retire, effective Dec. 31, 2014. <\/p>\n<p>Bellerose has been with Holy Cross for 37 years, including the last 23 in his current role.<\/p>\n<p>From 1988 through 1993, Bellerose served as the head coach of the Crusaders&#8217; team after previously spending time as an assistant coach from 1977 to 1988.<\/p>\n<p>During his days as an undergraduate from 1973 to 1977, Bellerose was a member of the Holy Cross hockey team and still ranks eighth all-time in career points (152) and 10th all-time in career goals (71). In 2002, he was inducted into the Holy Cross Varsity Club Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n<p>Bellerose served on the NCAA Division I men&#8217;s ice hockey committee from 2005 to 2010 and was the chairman of the committee during the 2009-2010 season.
