He said he just wasn&#8217;t having fun coming to the rink and it wasn&#8217;t in his heart to stay any longer. He thought it was right for him to find another place to play. At this time, I think he is going to go back and play junior hockey and go from there.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We wish young Keegan the best of luck in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ford&#8217;s departure further cuts into the depth on the Badgers&#8217; blue line.<\/p>\n<p>With Eddie Wittchow out with a broken finger, the Badgers have six healthy defensemen left on the roster.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We welcome Keegan back as he was a big part of our organization for the last few years on the ice,&#8221; added Dubuque coach-GM Matt Shaw in a statement. &#8220;Unfortunately, things did not work out for him at the University of Wisconsin. We look forward to having him in a Saints uniform and helping him create another opportunity at the college level that he feels will be a good fit for him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ford, whose brother, Jason, will remain with the Badgers, skated in all 12 of Wisconsin&#8217;s games this season, posting two assists.
