Players representing 11 schools were named to the All-USCHO Women’s D-I teams today. National champion Minnesota led the way with six players on the list, followed by Boston College with five.<\/p>\n

Other schools represented included Bemidji State, Boston University, Clarkson, Cornell, Harvard, North Dakota, Northeastern, Princeton, and Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Leading the first team were the Patty Kazmaier Award finalist trio of Boston College forward Alex Carpenter, Minnesota forward Hannah Brandt, and Boston University forward Marie-Philip Poulin. On defense were BC’s Emily Pfalzer, the leadings scorer among defensemen, and Minnesota’s Lee Stecklein. The first team goalie selection was North Dakota’s Shelby Amsley-Benzie, who had the best save percentage in the country.<\/p>\n

The All-USCHO teams are voted on by the editor and writers.<\/p>\n
