Miami coach Enrico Blasi threw out a one-liner today when talking about his relationship with Boston University coach Jack Parker, his counterpart in Saturday’s national championship game.<\/p>\n
Blasi was talking about Parker’s legacy and how he takes time to initiate conversation with young coaches.<\/p>\n
Then he added this:<\/p>\n
“A few years ago in Florida, he slapped me in the face and caught me off guard. I’m like, ‘What was that for?’ He said, ‘Take a good look — this is you in 30 years.’ I thought that was pretty cool. And then today he was commenting on my gray hair.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
