In addition, Sanford was second on the team in plus\/minus (plus-27).<\/p>\n<p>The Salem, Mass., native posted 63 points (20 goals, 43 assists) in 79 career games with Boston College.<\/p>\n<p>Sanford is now the seventh BC player to sign an NHL contract this offseason with eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Washington Capitals announced Monday that they have signed Boston College sophomore forward Zach Sanford to a three-year, entry-level contract.
