He recorded 40 goals and 59 assists in 135 career games, and his 99 points are good for 49th all-time at Northeastern.<\/p>\n<p>He had his best year as a senior co-captain in 1995-96, finishing second on the team with 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists). At the conclusion of his final season, he was named the Frank Jones Award winner as New England&#8217;s best defensive forward by the New England Hockey Writers.<\/p>\n<p>Lupo was also part of the 1993-94 Northeastern team that reached the NCAA tournament, and graduated from the university&#8217;s Cooperative Education program in 1996.<\/p>\n<p>Calling hours will be held at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home in Somerville, Mass., on Friday, Dec. 2 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A period of remembrance will begin at 7:15 p.m. for anyone who wishes to share their memories or stories about Danny.<\/p>\n<p>A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private.<\/p>\n<p>George L.
