{"id":80739,"date":"2017-12-09T12:35:53","date_gmt":"2017-12-09T18:35:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=80739"},"modified":"2017-12-09T12:35:53","modified_gmt":"2017-12-09T18:35:53","slug":"hockey-east-announces-one-game-suspensions-to-bus-hickey-umass-lowells-master","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2017\/12\/09\/hockey-east-announces-one-game-suspensions-to-bus-hickey-umass-lowells-master\/","title":{"rendered":"Hockey East announces one-game suspensions to BU&#039;s Hickey, UMass Lowell&#039;s Master"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hockey East announced Saturday that Boston University senior defenseman Brandon Hickey has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 4:25 of the third period on Friday, Dec. 8, at UMass Lowell.<\/p>\n<p>Hickey was called for cross checking on the play.<\/p>\n<p>Hickey will miss the game on Saturday, Dec. 9, against UMass Lowell and is eligible to return to the BU lineup on Friday, Jan. 5 against the U.S. National Under-18 Team.<\/p>\n<p>Hockey East also announced that UMass Lowell junior forward Nick Master has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 18:48 of the first period on Friday, Dec. 8, in the same game against Boston University.<\/p>\n<p>On the play, Master was assessed a boarding penalty.<\/p>\n<p>Master will miss the game on Saturday, Dec. 9, at Boston University and be eligible to return to the River Hawks lineup Friday, Dec. 29, against Harvard in the Catamount Cup.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hockey East announced Saturday that Boston University senior defenseman Brandon Hickey has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 4:25 of the third period on Friday, Dec. 8, at UMass Lowell.
