Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the fifth round (134th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Adams appeared in 98 games for the Friars from 2010 to 2015, totaling two goals and six assists. He appeared in all four NCAA tournament games as the Friars captured their first-ever national championship in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to Providence, Adams captained the 2009-10 Chicago Steel (USHL) where he recorded four goals and 10 assists.
