Both Nicole and I did well overall last week, and she gained a game back on me in the season race. I went 19-7-2 (.714), while Nicole was 20-6-2 (.750). On the year, I am now 258-97-39 (.704), while Nicole is 241-114-39 (.661).<\/p>\n

Friday, Feb. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. 5 Princeton at Brown<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Expect Princeton to be back strong after last weekend. Princeton 4-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> The Tigers should take this one. Princeton 4-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. 6 Cornell at No. 4 Clarkson<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> I think Clarkson is back on a roll with sky-high confidence. Clarkson 4-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I’m hedging my bet and calling for a tie. Tie 3-3<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dartmouth at Rensselaer<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Home ice should get the Engineers through. Rensselaer 2-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> RPI should win this one. Rensselaer 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. 10 Colgate at St. Lawrence<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> I think the Raiders have more consistency. Colgate 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I’ll take Colgate to win this one. Colgate 3-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harvard at Union<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Harvard should have tons of confidence after beating BC. Harvard 3-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> The Crimson win. Harvard 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quinnipiac at Yale<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> I was impressed by Quinnipiac’s series against Duluth, so I’ll go with the Bobcats. Quinnipiac 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Should be one of the better games and a bit of a toss up, so I’ll take Yale at home. Yale 4-3<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Hampshire at No. 7 Boston College<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> The Eagles lost to UNH last time out, and can’t afford to again. Boston College 4-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I’ll take BC. Boston College 3-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Merrimack at No. 3 Northeastern<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> I think the Huskies should get the win on home ice. Northeastern 4-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I’ll stick with Northeastern here. Northeastern 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday-Saturday, Feb. 8-9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robert Morris at Penn State<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Going out on a limb and picking a Colonials sweep. Robert Morris 3-2, 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Robert Morris wins game one, Penn State wins game two. Robert Morris 3-0, Penn State 2-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

RIT at Lindenwood<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Lindenwood may get one at home, but I’ve been impressed by RIT of late. RIT 3-2, 2-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> RIT sweeps. RIT 2-0, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Syracuse at Mercyhurst<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Again, going out on a limb and predicting a sweep. Mercyhurst 3-1, 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Mercyhurst wins game one, Syracuse wins game two. Mercyhurst 2-1, Syracuse 3-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Providence at Maine<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> The Friars have not been the same team in the second half. Maine 3-2, 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I’ll take a split. Providence in game one, Maine in game two. Providence 3-1, Maine 2-0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vermont at Connecticut<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Two evenly matched teams, and I have no idea who wins. Connecticut 3-2, 2-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Connecticut wins game one, Vermont wins game two. Connecticut 2-1, Vermont 3-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bemidji State at No. 9 Ohio State<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> I like the Buckeyes to take two close games. Ohio State 3-2, 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> BSU swept earlier in the season, so I think I’ll take a split here, with Ohio State winning game one. Ohio State 2-1, Bemidji State 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

St. Cloud State at Minnesota Duluth<\/strong>
\nCandace: I think the Bulldogs have looked very strong lately. Minnesota Duluth 3-1, 3-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I’ll take the Bulldogs to sweep. Minnesota Duluth 3-1, 2-0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday, Feb. 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quinnipiac at Brown<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Brown had one good weekend all year. Quinnipiac 3-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Quinnipiac should take this one. Quinipiac 4-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. 10 Colgate at No. 4 Clarkson<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> The Raiders would love to get some revenge for last year, but I go with home ice. Clarkson 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> I expect Clarkson to win this one. Clarkson 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harvard at Rensselaer<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> If Harvard doesn’t keep its focus, Lovisa Selander will make them pay. Harvard 2-1<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Harvard’s the only Beanpot team playing two this weekend. They’ve got momentum so I’ll take them to win here. Harvard 3-2<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. 6 Cornell at St. Lawrence<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Have to go with the Big Red to get a big win. Cornell 3-2<\/strong>

\nCandace:<\/strong> Princeton is back to its winning ways. Princeton 4-1<\/strong>

Holy Cross at No. 8 Boston University<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Holy Cross may keep it close if the Terriers are looking toward Tuesday. Boston University 4-2 <\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> Boston University wins this one. Boston University 5-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Merrimack at New Hampshire<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> A tough one to pick, mainly because UNH can be so up and down. Merrimack 3-2<\/strong>
\nNicole:<\/strong> The Warriors win. Merrimack 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 9-10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Minnesota State at No. 1 Wisconsin<\/strong>
\nCandace:<\/strong> Have to go with Wisconsin to take two. Wisconsin 4-1, 4-1 <\/strong>
