Overall, I went 12-4-3 (.710) and Nicole went 11-5-3 (.657). We both have some different picks this week, so let&#8217;s see how it goes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday-Friday, Oct. 5-6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Minneosta-Duluth at Boston College<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I think both games will be close, but I&#8217;m picking the Eagles to sweep. <strong>Boston College 2-1, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> I expect this be close, but calling a split. BC wins game one, UMD wins game two.<strong> Boston College 3-1, Minnesota-Duluth 2-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday-Saturday, Oct. 6-7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Northeastern vs. Boston University (home-and-home)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Hard to pick this. I&#8217;ll go for the home ice split. <strong>Boston University 3-2, Northeastern 4-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Northeastern sweeps. <strong>Northeastern 4-2, 3-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Merrimack at New Hampshire (home-and-home)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I&#8217;m tempted to pick a sweep, but I think a home ice split is more likely. <strong>New Hampshire 3-2, Merrimack 3-1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> I&#8217;m going with Merrimack for the sweep. <strong>Merrimack 3-1, 2-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bemidji State at Clarkson <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Bemidji will use its usual defensive push to make it interesting, but Clarkson prevails. <strong>Clarkson 4-2, 4-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Clarkson takes the weekend. <strong>Clarkson 4-2, 3-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Cloud at Colgate<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> St. Cloud will be a tough out, but I think Colgate sweeps. <strong>Colgate 3-1, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> I wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if SCSU sneaks one after last season, but giving Colgate home ice advantage. <strong>Colgate 3-2, 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Lawrence at Mercyhurst<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I don&#8217;t think Mercyhurst is strong enough. St. Lawrence gets the sweep. <strong>St. Lawrence 3-2, 3-1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> I&#8217;ll call a split. <strong>St. Lawrence 3-2, Mercyhurst 2-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Union at Penn State<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> If Penn State can score, I like them to sweep. <strong>Penn State 2-1, 3-2 <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Penn State should sweep. <strong>Penn State 3-0, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Providence at Quinnipiac<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Really unsure of both teams at the moment. Providence can score, but its defense is suspect. Quinnipiac is the opposite. <strong>Quinnipiac 3-2, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Not sure on both of these teams yet so I&#8217;ll call a split. <strong>Qunnipiac 2-0, Providence 1-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maine at Rensselaer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Maine looked good last weekend, so I have to pick them. <strong>Maine 3-1, 3-1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole<\/strong>: Picking Maine to sweep. <strong>Maine 3-1, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wisconsin at Syracuse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I think Syracuse might make it interesting, but the Badgers sweep. <strong>Wisconsin 4-2, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Badgers take the weekend.<strong> Wisconsin 4-1, 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ohio State at Minnesota<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Ohio State will make the Gophers nervous in at least one game, but I think Minnesota comes out like gangbusters after the split last weekend. <strong>Minnesota 3-1, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Ohio State has pushed each of the WCHA teams in recent years so I&#8217;ll give them a shot at stealing one here. <strong>Ohio State 3-2, Minnesota 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Oct. 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vermont at Connecticut<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Not sure on this game at all. I&#8217;ll go with home ice as the deciding factor. <strong>Connecticut 2-1<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Vermont wins on the road. <strong>Vermont 2-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 7-8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Robert Morris at Minnesota State<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I think these will be one-goal games, but the Colonials prevail. <strong>Robert Morris 3-2, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nicole:<\/strong> Robert Morris should sweep. <strong>Robert Morris 4-0, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday.
