\nOn Saturday, the two teams tied within a minute of each other in the second period to tie the game at one, but the Tigers scored again about two minutes later and it was all Princeton from there. Keiko DeClerk was one of three Tigers with two points on the day, and she iced the win with a short-handed goal halfway through the third to earn Princeton the 4-1 win. On Sunday, Princeton’s Kiersten Falck scored her first of the season before Reagan Rust tied it up for Boston University. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.<\/p>\n
\nConnecticut jumped out to a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Natalie Snodgrass, Justine Fredette, and Theresa Knutson before Dartmouth cut the lead to 3-2 with goals from Tess Bracken and Linda Essery. Shots on goal were tied after two periods, but the Huskies pulled away in the final frame, outshooting Dartmouth 18-5. Knutson scored again in the third to lead Connecticut to a 5-2 win.<\/p>\n
\nFreshman Daryl Watts started the second-half with a career-high five-point game, while Caitrin Lonergan and Makenna Newkirk each added two goals in BC’s 7-3 win over Merrimack. Mikayla Grant-Mentis scored twice for Merrimack in the loss.<\/p>\n
\nThe two hockey-playing schools in Providence, Rhode Island, play for the Mayor’s Cup. This year, Providence evened up the all-time series at 10-10-3 with a 3-1 win. Blair Parent, Whitney Dove, and Avery Fransoo scored for Providence, while Kaitijane Blumberg was the lone-goals scorer for Brown.<\/p>\n
\nSophomore goalie Tera Hoffman turned in a 37-save shutout to lead Yale to a 1-0 win. Emma Vlasic scored a short-handed goal for the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n
