No. 7 Minnesota at No. 1 Wisconsin

On Friday, Minnesota took a 2-0 lead into the second period thanks to two goals from Sydney Baldwin. Sam Cogan narrowed the lead early in the second, but the Gophers responded right away with a goal from Grace Zumwinkle to make it 3-1 Minnesota. Cogan scored near the end of the second to make it 3-2 Gophers heading into the third. The Badgers outshot Minnesota 30-7 over the second two periods. Claudia Kepler scored twice in the third period to give Wisconsin the come-from-behind 4-3 win. On Saturday, Wisconsin blocked 19 shots and kept the Gophers without a shot on goal over four power plays. Maddie Rolfes’ first-period goal was the only scoring as Wisconsin won 1-0 and swept the four-game regular season series with the Gophers for the first time in 19 years of Division I play.

Dartmouth at No. 2 Clarkson

No. 3 Colgate at Rensselaer

Shea Labbe and Olivia Zafuto put Colgate up 2-0 heading into the final period. No. 3 Colgate at Union

Jessie Eldridge led Colgate with two goals and an assist en route to a 6-1 win. Haley Shugart was the goal scorer for Union. Brittany Kucera cut the lead to one with a goal early in the third, but Ryan Little’s goal a few minutes later extended the lead and secured the win for the Eagles, who enter the Hockey East tournament as the top seed. Maine will be the third seed.

Ohio State is the number two seed in the WCHA and will host Minnesota State. Bemidji State earned the fifth seed and will play at UMD.

Harvard at No. 8 St. Lawrence

St. Lawrence outshot Harvard, 41-16, but two goals from Becca Gilmore helped the Crimson to a 2-1 win. Justin Reyes scored in the final minutes for the Saints, but they ran out of time to mount a comeback.
