I think Buffalo State has the better chance, and they&#8217;re at home. I expect them to win a close one. <strong>Buffalo State 4-3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday-Saturday, Nov. 3-4 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Lake Forest at Concordia (Wis.)<\/strong><br \/>\nI have Lake Forest as the favorite in the NCHA. I expected more out of them last week against St. Thomas, so I&#8217;m excited to see how they do at Concordia. The Falcons should finish in the top half of the conference and have a chance to pull an upset this weekend. I&#8217;ll take Lake Forest to sweep.<strong> Lake Forest 3-1, 2-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, Nov. 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 10 Wisconsin-Eau Claire at N. 7 Gustavus Adolphus<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Gusties felt like a bit of a surprise in the postseason last year, and this will be a big test for them early on. I&#8217;ll take home ice, but would be totally unsurprised by a BluGolds win. <strong>Gustavus Adolphus 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 4 Elmira at Oswego<\/strong><br \/>\nOswego graduated a big senior class and Elmira is a team to be reckoned with, so I expect them to win.<strong> Elmira 4-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Nov. 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 3 Norwich at No. 1 Plattsburgh<\/strong><br \/>\nMy pretty solid rule is to not pick against Plattsburgh until they prove that&#8217;s warranted.
