They need to tighten up on defense, but the offense has been clicking and this will be a good test for them. Wis.-Eau Claire is looking to push Wis.-River Falls and remain ranked. I expect the Blu Golds will win this one. <strong>Wis.-Eau Claire 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Mary&#8217;s vs. No. 8 St. Thomas<\/strong><br \/>\nIt&#8217;ll be the first conference game for both teams. St. Thomas is chasing Gustavus Adolphus in both the nation and conference, and they&#8217;ll be looking for points in every game. St. Mary&#8217;s has had a strong start to the season and wants to upset the balance. I think it&#8217;ll be close, but even with it being a home-and-home series, I think St. Thomas should take both. <strong>St. Thomas 5-2, 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday-Saturday, Nov 10-11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Northland vs. St. Scholastica<\/strong><br \/>\nNorthland has to find a way to pick up the offense, but they pulled out an overtime win over Adrian last week. They have the potential and need to find a way to focus it. St. Scholastica has not lost yet, and their defense is quite strong; it could be an interesting weekend. This is a home-and-home series, and I expect the home squad to win each game they host. <strong>St. Scholastica&#160; 3-1, Northland 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, Nov. 14<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Castleton at No. 2 Norwich<\/strong><br \/>\nCastleton has seen a lot of goals both on offense and defense. They definitely need to tighten up on the blue line because Norwich certainly knows how to score. I&#8217;ll take the Cadets. <strong>Norwich 5-3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 8 St. Thomas at No. 5 Wisconsin-River Falls<\/strong><br \/>\nThis should be the most exciting game of the week. It&#8217;ll be the Tommies&#8217; third game in four days. Wis.-River Falls looks like they&#8217;re trying to find their footing after graduating some world-class talent. I expect them to continue to get better as the season progresses.
