\nOn Friday, five different Tommies scored en route to a 5-0 win. Rachel Werdin led St. Thomas with a goal and an assist. All the scoring was in the third period on Saturday. Demi Cooper put St. Thomas on the board first, but it was all St. Mary’s from there. Mady Bobick tied it up, and Molly Abraham scored twice to give St. Mary’s the 3-1 win and a weekend split.<\/p>\n
\nAmanda Sergent and Kaleigh Martinson gave Wis.-Superior a 2-0 lead after the first period. Mikayla Goodin made it 3-0 Wis.-Superior in the second. Wis.-Eau Claire attempted a comeback in the third with goals from Courtney Wittig and Elizabeth Bauer, but they were not enough as Wis.-Superior won 3-2.<\/p>\n
\nMaddison Devlin scored twice to lead Morrisville over Salem State, 3-2, on Friday. Morrisville outshot Salem State, 43-18. On Saturday, Morrisville again dominated the shot battle, but Salem State got goals from Kylie Currier, Rose Sullivan, and Vanessa VanBuskirk to earn a 4-4 tie. Devlin added another goal for Morrisville in the tie.<\/p>\n
\nTaylor Marcellus put Potsdam up 1-0 just 32 seconds into the game, and that stood until Miranda Kolb scored a short-handed goal with 2:13 left in the game to force overtime. Allyson Edwards won it for Cortland in overtime. On Saturday, it was Kolb who struck early, giving Cortland a 1-0 lead on a power play just four minutes in. Marcellus was the late-game hero in this one, scoring with an extra attacker with 33 seconds to go. The game ended 1-1.<\/p>\n
\nFriday started with a bang, as the teams combined for six goals in the opening frame. Six different players scored for St. Norbert in the 6-2 win. Rachael Goodrow led with a goal and an assist. Sierra Meiners had a goal and an assist for Finlandia. On Saturday, St. Norbert outshot Finlandia 55-22, but the teams traded goals and ended in a 4-4 tie. Meiners scored twice more, and Hannah Tormanen tallied the other two goals. Lexi Pyykkonen scored twice for St. Norbert.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
