No. 4 Middlebury vs. Williams

On Friday, Amanda Williams and Anna Fucillo put Williams ahead, 2-0, in the first. Madie Leidt quickly responded to the second goal to cut the lead to one after one period. Sidney Portner tied it up for Middlebury, and then Brynn Puppe put Williams ahead again, 3-2, by the end of the second. Maddie Winslow tied it up in the third, and this one ended even up at 3-3. On Saturday, Leidt took over to lead Middlebury to a 4-2 win. She tallied three goals and added an assist to lead her team. Gabby Montembuault and Meghan Halloran had the goals for Williams.

No. 5 Wisconsin-River Falls at Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Wisconsin-Eau Claire took control at home. Jennifer Thomsen, Sami Meister, and Courtney Wittig scored for the BluGolds to take a 3-0 win over their rivals.

No. 8 Amherst vs. Wesleyan

Alex Horton scored in the first, and Allie Damren scored in the second to lead Wesleyan to a 2-1 upset win. Mia DelRosso’s late third-period goal was not enough for Amherst to mount a comeback. On Saturday, DelRosso scored a goal and added an assist to lead Amherst in a 3-2 win. Eliza Laycock scored in the first, and Kaitlin Hoang doubled the lead in the second for Amherst. Gina Mangiafridda cut it to 2-1 for Hamilton, but DelRosso’s third-period goal was the game-winner. Maddie Nash’s goal with under a minute to go was too little, too late.

Connecticut College vs. Hamilton

These two played to a scoreless tie on Friday. In game two, Maddie Beitler had Hamilton up 1-0 before four minutes had passed, and that score held until midway through the third. Andrea Rockey doubled Hamilton’s lead on a power play before Connecticut College got on the board with a goal from Lily Connolly, but time ran out on the comeback and Hamilton took the 2-1 win.

No. 9 St. Thomas vs. No. 10 Hamline

These two traded goals three different times en route to a 3-3 tie Friday night. Jordan Hansen scored twice for Hamline, while Rylie McDonnell, Allison Parnell, and Kaylee Druk scored for St. Thomas. On Saturday, Hamline took control as Maddy Fiedler, Rachel Werdin, and Alyssa Wallace led them to a 3-0 win.
