Jim last week: enjoying himself in Ireland while Dave got trounced (Jim’s Note: Timing is everything!)

Dave’s record-to-date: 16-12-10 (.552)

Jim’s record-to-date: 14-8-8 (.600)

Dave’s pick: The nation’s number one team remains undefeated.

BU 3, Merrimack 1

Jim’s pick: This won’t be an easy game for the Terriers but I think the home ice advantage is enough for the win.

BU 4, Merrimack 3

Dave’s pick: The Huskies going 0-for-3 against Atlantic Hockey teams in Matthews Arena makes you think they’re going to get shellacked at Alfond Arena.

Maine 5, Northeastern 1

Jim’s pick: This trip has always been a nightmare for the Huskies. That nightmare continues

Maine 4, Northeastern 2

Dave’s pick: UMass is left still looking for its first win.

UNH 3 UMass 1

Jim’s pick: This is my upset pick of the week. Minutemen finally in the ‘W’ column

UMass 3, UNH 2

Dave’s pick: The Eagles aren’t operating on all cylinders yet, but they’ll have enough to keep the Catamounts on the schneid.

BC 3 UVM 2

Jim’s pick: Gutterson has never been BC’s favorite place to play, but it hasn’t been Vermont’s either this season.

BC 5, UVM 3

Dave’s pick: If Alabama-Huntsville were a member of Atlantic Hockey, I’d be obliged to pick the Chargers (since Hockey East is a collective 1-4-4 against that league). Fortunately, they’re an independent so Tim Army’s crew is safe.

PC 4, Alabama-Huntsville 1

Jim’s pick: I have this weird feeling the Friars take the Chargers a little too lightly.

Alabama-Huntsville 3, PC 2

Dave’s pick: I came this close to going with the Warriors, but I’m picking BU to remain undefeated for one more week.

BU 3, Merrimack 2 (OT)

Jim’s pick: I’m simply not picking against Merrimack at home unless they give me a reason to.

Merrimack 3, BU 2

Dave’s pick: It’ll be a long trip back from Orono.

Maine 4, Northeastern 1

Jim’s pick: Black Bears complete the sweep.

Maine 3, Northeastern 2

Dave’s pick: The Wildcats finish off the home sweep.

UNH 4, UMass 2

Jim’s pick: UNH bounces back for the split.

UNH 5, UMass 2

Dave’s pick: The winless Catamounts will be dangerous, but BC has just enough to complete the sweep.

BC 2, UVM 1 (OT)

Jim’s pick: Really think this will be a tie, but I’ve never picked a tie, so why start now. Eagles sweep.

BC 3, UVM 2

Dave’s pick: How ’bout them Friars?

PC 4, Alabama-Hunstville 2

Jim’s pick: It’s splitsville for the Friars.
