Jim’s pick: Not sure either team is playing that well right now, so I’ll go for Merrimack at home.

MC 4, UNH 3

Dave’s pick: The Wildcats have one win in their last 16 games. It’s tough to pick them on the road.

MC 3, UNH 2

Jim’s pick: The River Hawks need to right the ship, but playing at Providence isn’t what the River Hawks need next on their schedule.

PC 4, UML 2

Dave’s pick: Why am I surprised Lowell is only a .500 team inside Hockey East? Win one and lose the next is how the results have rolled. That’s not good enough against Providence.

PC 4, UML 2

Jim’s pick: It seems strange to pick against BU, but right now the hotter team is UConn.

UConn 3, BU 2

Dave’s pick: I’m sticking with the Terriers, who have only lost once in their last 10 games (albeit a mighty big one on Monday).

BU 3, UConn 2

Jim’s pick: Though I fear a Beanpot letdown, I think that Northeastern will be focused enough to win in Burlington.

NU 4, UVM 2

Dave’s pick: I was hoping Jim went with the Catamounts. I like the Huskies to keep rolling.

NU 4, UVM 2

Jim’s pick: Particularly if BU loses on Friday, I think this is a manageable game on the back end of the weekend.

BU 5, MC 3

Dave’s pick: Despite the Beanpot loss, I’m (mostly) back on the BU bandwagon.

BU 4, MC 2

Jim’s pick: The River Hawks haven’t had a four-game losing streak at any point and I think they’ll keep that true at home.

UML 3, PC 2

Dave’s pick: I’m taking a Friars sweep. Simply the better team.

PC 3, UML 2

Jim’s pick: Northeastern completes the sweep and may take over first place entering the final weekend.

NU 3, UVM 2

Dave’s pick: I agree on the sweep. No Beanpot hangover for the Huskies.

NU 4, UVM 2

Jim’s pick: I’m tempted to pick Maine here. But I think BC can and will win this one.

BC 4, Maine 3

Dave’s pick: Ooh, I thought sure Jim was going with Maine. Too bad.

BC 3, Maine 2

Jim’s pick: With just two games left, UConn doesn’t exactly control its first-round bye. But they will do everything they can to earn it.

UConn 4, UMass 2

Dave’s pick: Six straight wins for the Huskies going into the weekend, including victories over BC, PC, and Northeastern.
