Which teams will be able to separate themselves as the first half winds down?<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what we think.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minnesota State at Lake Superior State<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean:<\/strong>&#160;It&#8217;s a fresh weekend for the Mavericks, but it&#8217;s never easy visiting the Lakers. <strong>Mavericks 3-2, 2-1 (OT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack:<\/strong> The Mavs will be rested after being off last weekend. Things aren&#8217;t looking good for Lake State. <strong>Mavericks 4-1, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ferris State at Michigan Tech&#160;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean:<\/strong>&#160;Bulldogs goalie Justin Kapelmaster is playing extremely well lately and I think he&#8217;ll continue that trend with a trip to the UP. <strong>Bulldogs 3-2, 1-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack:<\/strong> Not sure the Bulldogs have the quality to beat the Huskies TWICE in Houghton, but I can see them getting a split. <strong>Bulldogs 2-1, Huskies 4-2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alabama Hunstville at Bowling Green<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean:<\/strong>&#160;Bowling Green is playing well at home lately and should be confident after four points against Bemidji State. <strong>Falcons 4-2, 3-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack:<\/strong> The Chargers have been able to get points from each of their past three weekends. I think they keep that going this week. <strong>Falcons 3-1, Chargers 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Northern Michigan at Bemidji State<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean:&#160;<\/strong>The Beavers need to make up some ground after last weekend against BG. But the Wildcats recieved a wake-up call against Alabama last week. <strong>Wildcats 3-2, Beavers 4-0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack:<\/strong> I think the Beavs will be able to kick it in high gear and sweep NMU to get out of the danger zone of ninth place. <strong>Beavers 4-2, 2-1 (OT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alaska at Alaska Anchorage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sean:<\/strong>&#160;The battle for Alaska is always a fun one, and this one should feature some extra 3-on-3. <strong>Nanooks 3-2 (OT), Seawolves 2-1 (OT)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack:<\/strong> I agree this is probabalyh a split.
